Chic Geek Rebrand

After 10 years, it was time to roll out a refreshed brand and vision to the Chic Geek community. We worked with Grant Design to create the new look, and began the rollout across digital platforms in September 2021. View the new brand at thechicgeek.ca

#GivingTuesday Campaign

This year's #givingtuesday campaign has reached thousands in the Calgary tech community, generating over $85,000 in qualified leads from potential partners such as IBM, TD Bank, and Best Buy. Read the campaign announcement here.

Screaming Toller Launch

The Screaming Toller brand is fun, lovable, and engaging, and they needed a digital marketing strategy to reflect that. In May 2021, Screaming Toller launched with no social or retail presence, and today has an engaged community of 4,000 social media followers reaching almost 30,000 fans per month, and can be found in 180+ liquor stores across Alberta. Career Pathing Ramp Up

Over the course of 3 months, Chic Geek's Career Pathing mentorship program developed from an Excel Spreadsheet to an automated, AI-powered pairing system, reducing employee task hours while improving the quality of matches. Since launch, Career Pathing has facilitated over 1000 connections for women in technology, and been implemented internally for employees at tech companies and training institutions across Alberta. Live & Unsigned 2022

After years of postponement throughout the pandemic, Empowering Minds' annual fundraiser Live & Unsigned was in need of a rebrand and reintroduction to the Calgary philanthropic community. Over $100,000 was generated in charitable contributions, and re-energized the buzz for this community event.

ICBC UofC Marketing Team

Currently representing the University of Calgary 2022 on the Marketing consulting team for the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC) hosted by Queen's University. ICBC is Canada's Largest, Oldest, and Most Prestigious Undergraduate Case Competition, hosting over 45 academic institutions annually.

My team ranked first place in the preliminary qualifier rounds, which consisted of a business case analysis and 10-page final proposal. In January we will compete at Queen's against 5 top universities during the final weekend. Learn more about the competition at https://icbcqueens.com/

Tomato Wheels Marketing Pitch

Local Entrepreneur Moirae Choquette approached the MKTG 475 class with a challenge: design a digital marketing strategy to introduce a new type of wine to the Alberta market. Focusing in on what makes Tomato Wheels unique, our group developed a plan that embraces Alberta's love for local, and capitalizes on the feel good experience of sharing a bottle of wine.

BTMA467 Final Presentation

Calgary Drop-In Centre

Helen Knight of the Calgary Drop-In Centre worked with students of BTMA 467 at the Haskayne School of Business to develop an e-business system proposal. This case challenged students to build a business case for the implementation of technology to optimize client care systems, while considering the specific challenges and experiences faced by Calgary's homeless population.
